倍加福SLC安全光幕包括了一個發(fā)射器和一個接收器。每套設(shè)備都是一個帶有自監(jiān)控的光電安全設(shè)備，滿足EN 945-1或EN 61496的4級標準。紅外的保護光束有以下幾種光束間距： 14 mm, 30 mm, 60 mm和90 mm。感應范圍zui遠可達15 m，保護高度zui高可達1800 mm。所有的特性，如啟動/重啟互鎖，都整合在了SLC安全光幕的接收器內(nèi)。

發(fā)射器和接收器之間不需要連接。附加上基本的單發(fā)射和接收模塊，SLC安全光幕可以進入主/從模式，此時zui多可包括2個從模塊，組成3個互相獨立的光幕段。這種方式可以提供多個平面的保護（水平，垂直或傾斜的），并且每個段可以有不同的分辨率。安全輸出（OSSD）信號位于接收器內(nèi)。它們都帶有獨立電氣輸出的自動防故障裝置，繼電器輸出型帶有常開的觸點。還可以使用反射鏡進行周界或多平面的保護。

SLC系列安全光幕可用在各種有潛在危險發(fā)生的地方，比如它可用于周界的警戒，區(qū)域的警戒和機器（操作點）的警戒等。一個垂直或水平的SLC光幕確保了不能觸及光幕的下方和上方。
